About SOLBAT Technologies
An Australian climate-technology company developing serviceable renewable infrastructure for public spaces.
SOLBAT Technologies is developing an autonomous solar-fence system that generates, stores and manages its own energy without connection to the electricity grid.
The Market Need
Public-space lighting is constrained by real site conditions:
- Existing sites can make grid connection difficult
- Trenching and cabling can disrupt established coastal paths, reserves and landscaped areas
- Separate fences and lighting poles add assets, foundations and maintenance interfaces
- Imported standalone solar lights can be difficult to repair or adapt
- Coastal environments expose equipment to salt, wind, moisture, UV and vandalism
SOLBAT operates autonomously at sites where a grid connection is costly, disruptive or unavailable.
