Development & Verification Pathway
- Engineering review — Define the first product configuration, loads, materials, energy sizing and approvals pathway.
- Benchtop proof — Demonstrate solar charging, battery removal, automatic lighting and accessible controls.
- Full-scale prototype — Fabricate a realistic fence bay and test serviceability, runtime, temperature and water ingress.
- Independent verification — Assess structure, electrical safety, battery enclosure, photometrics, accessibility and coastal durability.
- Monitored pilot — Collect evidence on uptime, maintenance, community response and whole-of-life cost.
